Friends

  • Our Friends scheme is open to anyone. When you become a Friend of Planning Aid for Scotland (PAS) you'll receive a new package of exciting benefits.
  • You might be an individual who wants help to make your way through the planning maze or a community group who wants to know more about how planning affects your work.
  • Help fund our vital work in helping some of the most vulnerable and excluded people in Scottish society.
  • To join simply donate £25 or more each year.

Become a Friend of PAS

Download and complete the Support Us leaflet, then send it with your cheque for £25. For more information or to pay by an alternative method please email Kathryn or call her on 0131 220 9737. Friends of PAS are automatically entitled to:

Friends welcome pack
When you become a Friend you receive an information pack, containing resource materials on planning, plus information to give out to your local community, if relevant.

Regular e-bulletin with invaluable planning news and events
Be sure to give us your email address so you can receive our exclusive planning and related news e-bulletin, and quarterly update on activities, training opportunities and benefits.

Unique opportunities to attend popular PAS training and events with free or reduced prices
See our Events calendar for full details of all current PAS events and let us know what you would like to attend. You also get an opportunity to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) where you meet the key players and hear what's happening next for PAS.

A £5 national book token if you recruit a friend
Once you're a paid-up member you can recruit as many other Friends as you like - and when we receive each fee you'll get a £5 voucher every time!

Feel good that you're helping people
Some of the most vulnerable and excluded people in society are helped by PAS. Our work with seldom heard and socially excluded groups is essential. We help give them a voice in shaping their neighbourhoods and enable them to gain control over their own lives.

Further benefits for Friends
Of course you can also use our free planning advice service at any time. But what else would you like to see for Friends? What would be an added incentive for you to join or to remain as a member? Where and who should we target? Email us and let us know!
