Planning Aid for Scotland training

The planning reforms aim to make the system more inclusive, efficient and accessible. This means that people everywhere should be able to participate in planning - but not all of us have the understanding and tools to do so.

As part of our training we offer independent and impartial advice as well as continued support after each event through our advice service. PAS offers a range of training programmes for everyone, from people with no experience in planning to experts in the field. We help communities, developers and professionals to understand and take part in the system.

Delivery

Our training is delivered by professional planners, communications specialists, legal experts, community artists and others. We deliver training where you are on weekdays and Saturdays.

Training and advice leaflets

Training and advice service leaflets have been circulated all over Scotland to planning offices, libraries, community venues, Citizens Advice Bureaux, community groups, MSP constituency offices and many other places.

We are keen to see our leaflets displayed in every community in Scotland. If you spot a place where you think our information should be available please let us know!
