The Scottish Government's Zero Waste Plan sets out ambitious targets to reduce our waste. Planning Aid for Scotland is running a series of waste planning training events across Scotland to upskill Community Councils on what this means for them. Our training events for Community Councils will explore how the Zero Waste Plan will impact on the planning system – and how Community Councils can engage effectively with waste planning issues.

For Planning Professionals
The Scottish Government's Zero Waste Plan sets out ambitious targets to reduce our waste. Planning Aid for Scotland (PAS) will soon be delivering a series of training workshops which will offer planning professionals an introduction to Scotland’s Zero Waste Plan, its policy context, and how this will impact upon planning practice. Our training events for planning professionals will explore the practical implications of the Zero Waste Plan and how this will affect your work as a planner.
