Ayrshire Joint Structure Plan (2007)

New Development Plans:

Under the 2006 planning reforms, Local Authorities are required to produce a new kind of Development Plan. In South Ayrshire this will consist of a Local Development Plan for the area that will replace the local and structure plans.

Development Plan Scheme:

Development Plan Schemes are published annually, showing the progress made towards approving Strategic Development Plans, adopting a Local Development Plan and key dates for community engagement.
