New Development Plan:
Under the 2006 planning reforms, Local Authorities are required to produce a new kind of Development Plan. In the Scottish Borders, this will consist of a Local Development Plan for the area and a strategic development plan covering the Lothians, Borders and Fife, called "SESplan".
Development Plan Schemes:
Development Plan Schemes are published annually, showing the progress made towards approving Strategic Development Plans, adopting a Local Development Plan and key dates for community engagement.
