New Development Plan:

Falkirk Council currently have 8 adopted local plans that will be replaced shortly by a single local plan. Under the 2006 planning reforms, Local Authorities are required to produce a new kind of Development Plan. In Falkirk this will consist of a Local Development Plan for the area that will replace the local and structure plans.

Development Plan Schemes:

Development Plan Schemes are published annually, showing the progress made towards adopting a Local Development Plan and key dates for community engagement.
