New Development Plan:

Under the 2006 planning reforms, Local Authorities are required to produce a new kind of Development Plan. In East Lothian, this will consist of a Local Development Plan for the area, and a Strategic Development Plan, covering Lothian, Borders and Fife, called SESplan.

Development Plan Schemes:

Development Plan Schemes are published annually, showing the progress made towards approving Strategic Development Plans, adopting a Local Development Plan and key dates for community engagement.
